BetVictor Gibraltar might be listed within the UK
Next month's BetVictor Gibraltar Open will take place in the UK due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The world rankings were held in Gibraltar from 2017 to 2020, but this time in Great Britain. The venue will be announced shortly. There will be 128 players in the field, with no amateur pre-qualification.
The event will take place on four tables March 1-7, with all games being the best of seven frames. The quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will all be played on Sunday, March 7th.
This is the sixth and final event in the BetVictor European Series where the player who exceeds the final earnings regulations will receive a bonus of £ 150,000. Judd Trump won the bonus last year after beating Kyren Wilson 4-3 in the Gibraltar final.
