Juventus versus Inter Milan prediction

After losing 3-0 to AC Milan last week, followed by a 3-1 midweek win over Sassuolo, Juventus will score on Saturday afternoon at 12:00 EST on Serie A Matchday 37 at 12:00 EST on the master Inter Milan.

Inter have already claimed the Scudetto and although officially nothing is at stake for the Nerazzurri, they could look forward to planting a serious commitment through the hearts of defending champions Juventus by taking three points from the old lady on Saturday.

Even after Wednesday's 3-1 win against Sassuolo, Juventus sees itself turned outwards when it comes to the top 4. They sit one point behind Napoli for fourth and three points behind AC Milan and Atalanta.

If you thought Inter would wear off after winning the title earlier this month, they did just the opposite with 5-0 and 3-1 wins over Sampdoria and Roma.

Inter are now unbeaten in a staggering 20 league games and Antonio Conte would love to see that streak last until the end of the year. An Inter Milan overall win offers a great return, but considering the price, it seems like the best game to support "double chance" for a draw or an Inter win. This Juventus side has been far from reliable and it doesn't seem like the best game right now to expect them to show up just because they have to qualify for the Champions League.

In the Coppa Italia, Juventus prevailed when these teams met each other this season. Juve won 2-1 and the two parted 0-0 in the second leg. Inter won 2-0 in Serie A in January.

Inter have scored double-digit expected goals (xG) in each of their last five games (2.9, 2.0, 2.0, 1.1, 2.5). Juventus have since recorded a double-digit xG in a 16-straight. Despite all the odds, they were still victorious over Sassuolo despite losing the xG fight with 2.4-1.4. Alternatively, goals can be expected from both sides.

Selection: Inter – Double Chance (-148)

Spezia vs Turin prediction

Two teams who have done almost enough to save themselves from relegation will meet on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. EST on Matchday 37 of Serie A.

Each side is on 35 points, four above Benevento's 18th place. Turin suffered an embarrassing 7-0 defeat against AC Milan in the middle of the week, while Spezia shared the points in a 2-2 draw with Sampdoria.

Ties were the order of the day for these teams this season. Turin leads the league at 14, while Spezia also has double digits at 11. Two other teams have 12 a year, namely Fiorentina and Genoa.

These teams have only one all-time meeting which came earlier this year in a 0-0 draw.

A division of the points could theoretically be satisfactory for everyone again on Saturday. Adding a point to their record would be enough to avoid relegation should Benevento lose or draw against Crotone on Sunday. However, a Benevento win would bring Spezia and Turin to the finals. However, Turin has the added assurance that one more game has to be played as only 35 games have been played compared to the 36 others. A single point would not be the worse result for El Toro.

A full-time tie could be in the cards, or even a drawn tie. You could also support a half time draw at +102. Spezia are by far leading Serie A with a half-time tie after having done so 24 times. The closest is Fiorentina and Verona with 18 draws at halftime. Turin have played 15 of their 35 half-draw games.

Selection: Tie and both teams score (+265)

Benevento vs Crotone prediction

Everything is at stake for Benevento. He is currently four points ahead of the 17th place for Spezia, who will start on Matchday 37 of Serie A. Nothing is at stake for Crotone but they have often been fiery even on the track and would surely enjoy being pampered with all the hopes Benevento might have for redemption.

Crotone couldn't shatter Roma's hopes of staying in the top seven last weekend when they took a 5-0 lead. It was their eighth loss in nine and the third time in four games that they were excluded from the game report. Only a 4-3 win against Parma on April 21 had reversed the losses for Sersi Cosmi's side. On Thursday, however, Crotone caused an unexpected 2-1 surprise against Verona.

Benevento are in equally bad shape with just one win in their last 20 games, which, oddly enough, came against Juventus nine rounds ago. But since that time they are 0-2-6 and have been surpassed 21-10.

Crotone won 4-1 earlier this season, while last year when they were both in Serie B, everyone won at home. Benevento 2-0 and Crotone 3-0. In the last seven matches in both leagues, the home teams have now won seven times in a row.

There is literally no reason for either team to hold back in this game. Benevento needs three points. Most likely, both teams' time in Serie A is coming to an end. Crotone have almost set the highest number of goals ever scored in a Serie A season, but despite all their mistakes, they still have the league's sixth highest scorer in Simy.

I see goals and a lot of them in this one.

Selection: Both teams to score a goal and more than 2.5 (-120 at Bet365)
