Indian cricket star Virat Kohli wishes his "friend" Sunil Chhetri to be 37.

The skipper of the Indian soccer team, Sunil Chhetri, turned 37 on Tuesday, August 3rd. And India's all-time all-time goalscorer has already granted wishes, along with a special cricketer. Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli also sent wishes to Sunil Chhetri when he turned 37.

Kohli wished Chhetri the best on his special occasion and suggested that he be grateful for the friendship he has with the Indian soccer captain and how their mutual bond factor is Delhi's street food.

When did Sunil Chhetri make his international debut for India?

Sunil Chhetri wore the shirt of the Indian national team for the first time against Pakistan 16 years ago on June 12, 2005 at the age of 20.

India traveled to Pakistan to play a three game invitational series. In the very first game in the series, Chhetri made his international debut from then Indian coach Sukhwinder Singh. The talisman striker scored a goal on his international debut and it was his goal that helped the Blue Tigers keep the hosts in the 1-1 draw.

India had taken the lead in the series by winning the second game 1-0, but Pakistan came back strong, beating India 3-0 in the third game, leveling the series.

He has also scored the most hat tricks in international football (3) and is the top Indian goalscorer in the I-League and Indian Super League (ISL).
