Just when we thought we had recovered from Fred Durst's nookie in Lalapalooza, Bettinardi's Forever 90’s SS9 pulls us back to the end of the 20th century. Oh damn!
This Bettinardi putter makes you want to pull your JNCO jeans out of the drawer, put your hair in a hair tie and dive deep into your chain wallet.
The Forever 90's limited edition theme takes place 10 years after last summer Total 80s putter. Like its predecessor, the Bettinardi Forever 90s putter takes you back in time and brings back memories of, if not simpler, then definitely more colorful times. If 90s nostalgia is your thing, there's no problem showing Bettinardi the money for this putter.

Robert Bettinardi is excited to introduce his third Limited Run of 2021, the Studio Stock 9 “Forever 90’s” putter. Limited to 325 pieces worldwide, Robert milled the head shape of the SS9 from the finest 303 stainless steel precision-milled to 353 grams and remixed a hit by giving the putter a complete Flymill face with a wide rainbow PVD finish to bring it to life the retro 90s style with every role. Finished off in a fresh Tour Blast finish, RJB has intricately engraved abstract shapes and milled horizontal lines across the sole that add a neon paint job that is just awesome. Paired with a pink stitched, black Gripmaster grip made of perforated leather and a matching 90 & # 39; s or Nothing Premium Made in USA head cover, the SS9 Forever 90 & # 39; s Limited Run Putter is all that and a bag of chips.

Creating a putter that evokes that nostalgic 90s vibe is no easy task. That decade was ubiquitous. It would be impossible to fulfill all the fantasies of the 90s. Some people were still too legitimate to quit back then, others almost had aneurysms covered in dirty flannel, and some of you and your child prodigy were just about to start fires. It's really been a tough decade to pigeonhole.
Kelly Kapowski and A. C. Slater are sure to bag the Bettinardi Forever 90s. The bright colors and random geometric shapes are approved by John F. Kennedy Junior High School. As bright as it is, I think the Bettinardi Forever 90s putter is a bit subdued compared to last year's 80s putter.
Perhaps this is the subtext for the putter depicting how the 1990s moved away from the Dayglo excess of the last decade. Granted, I could read too much into it. Rémy Martin and my lemonade are to blame for this.
Regardless, I think we can all agree that the Forever 90 putter is way prettier than the guy in the kimono who kept telling you to put the lotion on your skin.
As with any limited edition putter, the putter must differ from the standard offerings. I know I want it that way. This SS9 delivers some items that should spice up your life. The most obvious unique selling point of the Bettinardi Forever 90's SS9 is its use. It's not plastic. It's awesome. OK so it's kind of a plastic as it has a rainbow PVD coating over the metal underneath.
One of my favorite things Bettinardi did with this putter was the PVD coating of the screws that secure the insert. These screws add a splash of color and interest to the otherwise surprisingly unadorned cavity. Maybe they couldn't squeeze a hex B between the screws.
The neck of this SS9 is also unique. In addition to the engraved thematic points, this plumber's neck is quite short. This gives the putter a little more toe room (4: 00-4: 30) than a conventional plumber's neck. I think the short neck also gives the putter a great look when responding. If you disagree, you are a melodramatic fool. There is no doubt about that.
Do you look at the Forever 90s putter and say, "Give it to me baby (uh huh uh huh)?" If you love it in your heart to your stomach, then you have to be punctually at 11 a.m. EST tomorrow at The Hive for these to be released. Near, far, wherever you are, set your alarm. Get up an hour earlier, just like you would with daylight saving time. If you think the putter is too expensive, don't speak. I know exactly what you are saying Hostility made you say what you said. Calm down.
This putter won't make you strip down and dance in the rain, but it may be the last track you need to complete your millennial mix tape. Tell Bettinardi what you want, what you really, really want. I know I want this decades-old Bettinardi line to continue. Will it ever stop I don't know.
