"Today I bring good news, I did a check-up with a new magnetic resonance at my doctor @drlopezmartinez and the muscle injuries have developed very well," Alcaraz said in this Instagram post. "It's time to take some rest, but I'll be playing tennis again this week."
Alcaraz, ranked 38th, is the youngest man ranked this high since a 17-year-old Rafa Nadal ranked 37th on April 26, 2004.
